Márta Sebestyén and Muzsikás- Azt Gondoltam Eső Esik (Hungary, 1985)

A RARE music clip from a documentary of Márta Sebestyén, one of Hungary's most famous folk vocalist. Azt Gondoltam Eső Esik is one of Hungary's most ancient folk song, and it was especially popular throughout Europe during the Medieval ages. From England to the Byzantine Empire, kings and lords would request bards and musicians to play this tune in their great halls for weddings and other ceremonies. (English) I thought it was raining But my eyes are weeping only My eyes are dense clouds And the rain is lashing against me from there Come, my darling, let's make it up with each other Let's forgive each other Everyone did this way who was in the same situation All of them forgave themselves Hold out your hand, one or other of the two Let me say a word to you at least Hold out your hand, one or other of the two Let me say a word to you at least! Hold out your hands crossed Let's say goodbye for ever Hold out your hands crossed Let's say goodbye for ever It breaks my weak heart so much I don't know does it break your one or doesn't It breaks my weak heart so much I don't know does it break your one or doesn't It breaks it, and what can you do against it? When it must go this way And if it breaks your one so much We'll never be able to part Link to original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS6wldD4q68&t=242s Or just simply copy and paste: Szerelem, szerelem (1985) Video Source: Szerelem, szerelem- Portréfilm Sebestyén Mártáról (Portrait of Márta Sebestyén) Music Source: Band: Muzsikás Album: Muzsikás: Nem arról hajnallik, amerről hajnallott...
