@cryptoshorts007 Alexis Korner was an English musician and radio broadcaster who is known as the "father of British blues". He was born on April 19, 1928, in Paris, France, to an Austrian Jewish father and a Greek mother. Korner moved to London in the early 1940s and became interested in jazz and blues music. In the 1950s, he formed the band Blues Incorporated, which included future Rolling Stones members Charlie Watts and Jack Bruce. Korner was also a radio presenter and helped to promote blues music in the UK. He died on January 1, 1984, in London, England, from lung cancer. #shorts #quotes #musician
