Popcorn Gem - GADDY WILSON & CINDERELLAS - Nothin' At Night - PHILIPS PB 980 UK 1959 Girls Dancer

Upload #2072 ~ HQ from UK 45 pictured ~~ Henry 'Gaddy' Wilson as lead & The Cinderellas. Girl Backing Group doing nice "Sha-Bop"s. Teen Popcorn with a Great Heavy Backing Beat & The Sha-Bops make this stand out & his complaining of 'No Nookie' is amusing. USA Columbia has the full name on some copies. UK totally unknown until we got 2 Promos in about 2003. Oh dear.. we've played it 5 times today, must like it. Popsike shows this as a £40 sale, one site reckons just £6 which is why this one was £3 to the one we borrowed it from. The 2003-found Promos sold £50-£75 after a while as the 45 is so good. B side "I'll Never Be Myself Again' isn't bad either. File it with the 'Cal Danger' 45... a No Centre UK Promo on ebay for ages, see how fast it sells now. Not one of our 2003 Mint ones... Has to be The Best Teen Popcorn, the Teen Pop Genre is Very Sugary if ones as 10/10 Great as this are, erm... really only the 2 Statesides by 'Jimmy Clanton' as on our channel... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwDRURjfvTA ... and .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH_Pn78Uoq0 .... ***HEY YOU MUSIC LOVER!*** We have over 1800 Music Videos on our Channel in 1950s-Early 1970s Soul, Beat, Psych. Reggae, Rock & Roll, R&B, Ska, Blues, Northern, Folk etc etc. Check out what else we have as plenty more goodies like this one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- As on our "About Us" page.... well hid on the Channel page This is OUR PICK of 1950s & 1960s Songs We Like or Find Interesting. Lots of Obscure & Unknown Tracks to KEEP MUSIC ALIVE. Mostly from the UK 45 as pictured. Never from CD. Good Music is Getting Forgotten unless it's shared. Record Collectors usually keep unknowns quiet, thing is nobody else will know it & it'll not be wanted in years to come. Some tracks we've known 20-30 years are still not known much, if can take off once we post. General Pop isn't us, we like The Obscure Gems & Rare Classics. Mod, Northern Soul, Reggae, Popcorn, Doowop, Rock & Roll, Beat, Psych, Funk, Jazz & more. Early Cartoons too, the Felix The Cat series. Our YouTube since 2016 has really got a huge amount of interest from Music Fans, this is fascinating to see. On seeing our early YT videos getting positive reaction, to realise the weary site we did use has little influence as our Stats show. We've got lots more to post & still are finding more to interest. Happy Listening! No Requests Please...
