TSOL - Superficial Love (Music Video) I remember the feeling of anxiety right before I graduated high school in 1982 as we all had to register for Selective Service in the event they reinstituted the Draft. Tensions were high at the time with Russia and world events were pointing towards a chance of World War 3. And as a 17 year old male, this song "Superficial Love" expressed what we were all feeling at the time. I saw TSOL a number of times in the early 80's and one of those times was at Orange Coast College on February 1, 1983. I used footage from that Noon Concert outside for some of this video and there is even a quick shot of me at 0:54. Another show I went to was at the Country Club in Reseda in 1982 and I used some of that footage in this video as well.
