The Edwards Sisters Rare first Mix "The Old Landmark"
The Edwards Sister's recorded "The Old Landmark" in 1983 while the girls were in their teens and early 20s. Tina Edwards was 21 at that time and was featured on Side A. Tragically Tina passed shortly after this first recording was issued regionally. Four sides were recorded and released by Audio Arts. These tracks were issued on a 7" EP (AAEP-006) in two different versions. Each the two production runs for this resord offer distinct mixes and mastering for side A. The Edwards Singers EP considered the Labels' rarest issue in that it became somewhat known internationally (by collectors) due to it's inclusion with promotional mailings for "Big Boy Henry's Audio Arts EP "Mr. Ball's Warehouse" which was his follow up to his widely acclaimed "Mr. President" single. Yet another vintage earlier track that was recorded in our temporary studio located at Albemarle Beach NC during construction of the Greenville Studio on Hwy 43N. This version features the poorer fidelity initial pressing
