MANILLA ROAD - Mystification - Acoustic Live Performance 2013 - www.manillaroad.net
Filmed by streetclip.tv, recorded live at the Release Party for Manilla Road´s new album MYSTERIUM on 02/01/2013 in Germany (Mannheim, 7er Club). Since "Centurian War Games" on the Manilla Road album INVASION (1980) the band has always offered acoustic or partially acoustic songs on many of their records. In 2013 "The Fountain" from the new CD MYSTERIUM already became a fan-favorite. This song is the title track of the late 80s album MYSTIFICATION and was rewritten for acoustic performances - like many others. It´s the ultimate proof HOW GOOD Manilla Road songs are. Guest guitars on that evening: Gianluca Silvi from Doomsword and Battleram. Check out the new Manilla Road CD "MYSTERIUM" out on Golden Core/ZYX since Feb 01/2013 and visit www.manillaroad.net. This is epic metal...since 1977!
About Manilla Road
Manilla Road was an American heavy metal band from Wichita, Kansas, founded by Mark "The Shark" Shelton and Scott "Scooter" Park (bass). Beginning in 1977, the early years of Manilla Road were spent playing mostly hard rock, psychedelic rock and progressive rock but eventually became noticeably heavier with time, the band's later heavy metal sound becoming more and more apparent with the release of Crystal Logic in 1983.
