MANILLA ROAD, the masters of epic metal, tell their story. This interview was filmed backstage at Keep It True Festival 2008 and can be seen in its raw, unedited version. This is part 1, part 2 will follow soon. The original version was a part of the KIT-Special 2008 on www.streetclip.tv. What host Neudi couldn´t know back then is that he will play drums in Manilla Road in 2011 (Hammer of Doom Festival "Epic Night"). Check out Manilla Road´s new CD (Shadow Kingdom Records) and LP (High Roller Records) "Playground of the Damned". Currently also available: "The Deluge" on CD and LP (same companies) and "After Midnight - Live", a recording of Manilla Road´s very first appearance as a liveband in a local radioshow (On CD and LP). The rest of the catalogue was re-released during the 2000s but some are already hard to get.

About Manilla Road

Manilla Road was an American heavy metal band from Wichita, Kansas, founded by Mark "The Shark" Shelton and Scott "Scooter" Park (bass). Beginning in 1977, the early years of Manilla Road were spent playing mostly hard rock, psychedelic rock and progressive rock but eventually became noticeably heavier with time, the band's later heavy metal sound becoming more and more apparent with the release of Crystal Logic in 1983.
