We had the honor to spend an afternoon recording four songs for a demo tape with the legendary Chicago Blues pianist and vocalist Sunnyland Slim (RIP). These songs were released as tracks on his album "Just You And Me" on the Airway label. He moved from Memphis to Chicago in 1942 and spent a nearly 70 year career performing and recording with many of the founding members of The Chicago Blues sound... including Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Robert Lockwood Jr, Little Walter Jacobs, Willie Dixon, Big Walter Horton, Johnny Shines and many more. Our session was followed by a sold out concert at The Tam O' Shanter in Brookline Massachusetts that evening. The players... Sunnyland Slim (RIP)... piano and vocals Ronnie Earl... guitar Bob Margolin... guitar Rosie Rosenblatt... harmonica Sarah Brown... bass guitar Terry Bingham... drums Produced by Sunnyland Slim and Jack Vaughan. Albert Luandrew Music owns the rights to this song. I do not own the rights to the album cover artwork.
