The Juke Joint In Acton - A Blues Community Acton is a small town, part of Halton Hills Ontario, that like many other communities has an active group of both musicians and music lovers. The Juke Joint, a private venue in the countryside southwest of town, began in the early 2000s as a passion project of former promoters and festival organizers Kim Duncanson and Stewart Laing, to celebrate the Blues and its sister genres, and provide a unique performance platform for musicians, as well as a special musical experience for the community.
