Recorded, cleaned and enhanced from the 1988 film, "Lethal Pursuit". Hopefully sharing this will be Bebe to release all of her songs in clean studio versions some day, if she has them that is. I do not own this song, so if the artist wishes for me to unfortunately take it down, I will do so without any problems. Please contact me about copyright issues or general correspondence at phaota@gmail.com instead of giving me a strike via a YT takedown. Thanks. ++ If you are a YouTuber, please do not steal this content for your channel. I love bringing you 80s music, but please, in the spirit of my channel, do not take it for your own. Credit and link is appreciated. Thank You ++

About This Footage

The grainy, analog footage from 1988's "Lethal Pursuit" film has been painstakingly cleaned and enhanced to reveal a rare studio clip of Y&T's Bebe Cross performing "Way To Love". This snippet of hard rock history matters for several reasons. At the time this was filmed, Y&T had already established themselves as one of the leading bands in the American heavy metal scene, having released their first album on London Records in 1976 and cemented a classic lineup that would go on to record several albums on A&M Records.

This particular clip is significant because it showcases Bebe Cross's vocal range and stage presence. As one of the few female frontwomen in a male-dominated genre, Cross was an anomaly in her time. Her powerful voice and charismatic performance style set her apart from her contemporaries, making this footage all the more valuable as a historical artifact.

The fact that this clip is from the "Lethal Pursuit" film adds to its rarity. The movie itself has become a cult classic among fans of 80s action cinema, with its over-the-top plot and memorable one-liners. However, it's unlikely that many viewers are familiar with Y&T's music or Bebe Cross's contributions to the band. This clip serves as a reminder of the band's enduring legacy and their place within the broader context of 80s rock.

One of the most striking aspects of this footage is its raw, unpolished quality. The audio and video have been cleaned up, but there's still an unmistakable sense of grit and authenticity to the performance. This is a testament to the band's commitment to their craft and their refusal to compromise on their artistic vision.

Watching "Way To Love" brings home the sheer energy and intensity that defined Y&T's live shows during this period. Bebe Cross's voice soars, her guitar work is precise, and the overall atmosphere is one of unbridled enthusiasm. It's a glimpse into a bygone era, when rock music was raw, unapologetic, and above all, real.

The fact that Y&T's music has endured for so long is a testament to their talent and dedication. Despite the band's eventual disbandment in 2011, their legacy lives on through fans like those who have uploaded this clip to YouTube. For anyone interested in the history of hard rock or heavy metal, "Bebe Cross - Way To Love (1988)" is an essential watch – a rare glimpse into the past that provides valuable context for understanding the evolution of these genres.

The clip's rarity and significance are underscored by the fact that it has been uploaded to YouTube with the explicit intention of preserving Y&T's music for future generations. The uploader's dedication to sharing this footage, despite the potential risks involved in copyright disputes, is a testament to their passion for rock history and their commitment to making it accessible to all.

As the clip fades to black, one thing becomes clear: Bebe Cross was more than just a talented musician – she was a trailblazer who paved the way for future generations of female rockers. Her legacy continues to inspire fans around the world, and this rare footage serves as a powerful reminder of her enduring impact on the music industry.
