"Rainy Day" (Acoustic) — Oleander | Runaway Train EP (2002) The second track from the Runaway Train EP — an exclusive acoustic rendition of "Rainy Day," one of only two ballads on Joyride (2003). While the studio version of "Rainy Day" appeared on Joyride, this intimate acoustic recording exists only on this EP — making it one of the most distinctive and sought-after versions in the Oleander catalog, and a rare chance to hear Thomas Flowers strip the song back to its most essential form. Released November 19, 2002 — Oleander's first release on Sanctuary Records — this EP was sold exclusively at Oleander concerts while Joyride was still being completed, giving fans who were there something genuinely special that most listeners have never heard. From the Runaway Train EP — also featuring the title track as heard in the Showtime film Bang Bang You're Dead, the previously unreleased "Parade," and a demo version of "Runaway Train."
