Rare Radio Endorsement by Robert Plant and John Paul Jones (1969)
Thursday, 1st May, 1969. Led Zeppelin are in Irvine, CA, where they are playing at Crawford Hall, University of California. After the gig, Johnny Thompson approached the roadies, asking if they would come to his music store with the group to record a short radio commercial. The following day, Friday, 2nd May, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones agree to go with the roadies to Johnny Thompson's music store and record some takes.
