John Valentine Carruthers (born 1958 in Wortley, Yorkshire) is a musician, guitarist and composer. He played with Clock DVA in the early 80's and then became the guitarist of Siouxsie and the Banshees in May 1984. With the Banshees he recorded The Thorn EP (1984), Tinderbox (1986), Through the Looking Glass (1987). And left the band in January 1987. — Since ‘Tinderbox’ is my favorite banshees album i wanted to make an appreciation video for JVC's unique guitar playing, and his role in shaping the sound of the album. *Sorry for the poor editing
