Siouxsie and the Banshees - Candyman (guitar cover by mozmarrellasticks)

Today's cover is the start of a countdown, one that awaits one of my favorite albums ever Tinderbox. Throughout the next 7 weeks, I'll be uploading 1 cover of a song from it up until the last (Lands End) which will fall on the 40th anniversary of the album! My main motivation for this was to just to learn all of John Valentine Carruthers' guitar work since he's my favorite Banshees guitarist (however This Unrest is very minimal). This week we start with the great opener Candyman, which not only features a great guitar, but also amazing bass from Steven Severin. I have to admit, all the songs on Tinderbox are so perfect that this actually is my least favorite song on the album, but that's in no way saying it's bad. The album is just loaded with perfection that Candyman in particular for me just happens to fall at the end of my personal ranking.
