Summer by The Cherwell | Forty Years at Cropredy (Documentary)
The Cropredy Festival (or Fairport's Cropredy Convention) is a music festival that takes place every August in a small Oxfordshire village. Fairport Convention, who started the festival over forty years ago, are legends of the folk scene and are at the heart and soul of this annual event. In this film, we look at the history of the festival, from its humble beginnings as a little garden party, to an event that attracts up to 20'000 people every year. We look at the unique relationship between the festival and the sleepy village in which it takes place.
