Acting Background: Before fully committing to music, Marvin had a brief stint as an actor, appearing in movies such as To Sir, with Love (1967), starring Sidney Poitier. Musical Career 1. Pre-Wailers Work: Marvin played with several bands in the UK, including Keef Hartley Band and Tontö’s Expanding Head Band.
