Butch Morris Amsterdam 1978 Lorin Festival
This is some early, pre-"conduction", Butch Morris, playing cornet in a quartet at the Lorin Festival in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1978. I captured this from a WKCR-FM broadcast in the mid-1980s. WKCR is the radio station of Columbia University, and has had excellent jazz programming for many decades. Butch played this recording during his guest appearance on the "Musician's Show", a Thursday night program that featured musicians bringing in and playing recordings of their own and others' music that wasn't otherwise available.
