About Guitar Nubbit
US blues singer and guitarist, born November 23, 1923 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Died June 30, 1995 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Nicknamed ‘Nubbit’ following the loss of the tip of his right thumb at the age of three in a hurricane. He grew up in Georgia and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, in 1945. He recorded for Bluestown in 1962 and again in 1965.
