Simple Minds - Glitterbal

Simple Minds is a Scottish rock band formed in 1977 in Glasgow. The group was founded by vocalist Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill. The band gained international prominence in the early 1980s with their innovative blend of post-punk, new wave, and art rock. "Glitterball" was released in 1998. It was the first single from their eleventh studio album, “Néapolis”. The song was particularly successful in the United Kingdom and Italy. In the United Kingdom, it reached the 18th position on the charts. This live performance was taped for the Dutch TV program “Tafkas” on on February 27, 1998.
