Heaven followed in the proud tradition of fellow Aussie pub rockers like AC/DC, The Angels & Rose Tattoo when they emerged with this killer single from their debut album "Twilight of Mischief" in 1982. The LP was full of fist pumpin' hard rockin' riffs galore, and the band had an excellent lead guitarist in Kelly & an outstanding hard rock vocalist in Alan Fryer, so big things were expected. However, in the wake of AC/DC's massive success, the band took off to the US before firmly establishing themselves here, then constant line-up changes impeded their progress in the US,. Mindyou they developed a loyal following through constant touring & went on to issue 4 long players through until 1985. But for a short while there in 81/82, they were my fave live Aussie band

Rose Tattoo are an Australian rock and roll band, now led by Angry Anderson, which formed in Sydney in 1976. Their sound is hard rock mixed with blues rock influences, with songs including "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten" and "Scarred for Life". Their first four albums were produced by Harry Vanda and George Young who also worked with AC/DC. They disbanded in 1987, subsequently reforming briefly in 1993 to support Guns N' Roses on an Australian tour. ...
