Recorded on July 18, 1983 · Club Lingerie, Los Angeles, CA. The Red Hot Chili Peppers were going to be a one-time act for a friend’s album release party. Forty years later the funk rock band is one of the best known and the longest running in the United States. Everything that happened in 1983 set the course for the rest of the band’s career. The Red Hot Chili Peppers: Anthony Kiedis - vocals; Michael "Flea" Balzary - vocals, bass; Hillel Slovak - guitar, backing vocals; Jack Irons - drums The Setlist : 00:00 Green Heaven (Intro missing) 03:30 Nevermind (Intro snippet) 03:41 Baby Appeal (the earliest known recording, maybe live debut) 08:02 You Always Sing The Same 09:05 Get Up And Jump 12:24 Scat 13:37 Nevermind 16:05 Fire (Intro missing)
