I'm Gonna Leave You Like I Found You ~ Tex Ritter with introduction (1973)

In 1973 #CapitolRecords put out a really nice box set of #TexRitter hits. Instead of your usual retrospective, this album had each song introduced by Tex. He would give a story behind the song, so this is really enjoyable. These have been “rechanneled” for fake stereo; I usually restore them back to the mono as originally recorded, but given the historical value of this particular set, I decided to leave it that way. I appreciate the music publishers for allowing these little heard gems to stay on my channel. I'm not trying to make money here or step on anybody's toes with copyright infringement. If there's ever a problem with anything I upload, I will be more than happy to take it down. I have taken time to digitally restore these from the original records; you might hear a stray click or pop here and there, but for the most part, these sound really good.
