THE MODERN ROOM - BRISTOL - The Sound of Modern Soul Streets of Soul run some the coolest nights in Bristol including the sell out night THE BRISTOL NORTHERN SOUL CLUB at the Old Market Assembly, monthly on the first Saturday of each month. Their aim is authentic and fun, and are about playing the absolute best quality music with an energy which is welcoming and enjoyable. All their nights are hugely popular, and is in excellent venues and they always create a fantastic atmosphere, where dancing is central to the night. They are often joined by some of the best dancers from all around, original old school dancers and co host Northern Soul Girl Levanna. Their other night includes a very cool and classy MODERN ROOM Event and a lively event called FUNK ADDICT for the really raw vibes. Their latest event is the BRISTOL BEAT CLUB - an authentic 6ts Soul night, for the lovers the sixties club soul - at Bristols newest and exciting venue - DARESHACK. This channel is here to bring you interesting and unique content from the culture of Funk and Soul, and videos of our events. We travel and visit events and film amazing people and places, in addition to putting on events in the UK and Spain. In Malaga we run 2 clubnights - Tough Nut and Boola Boola. We DJ as a Duo known as Streets of Soul, and also bring in other established local DJs to support our events. We are the hosts of the Backwoods Stage at NASS Festival, and DJ around Europe at some Prestigious Skateboarding Events.
