Patti Austin's Band Rehearsal
It was so amazing to be up close and personal with Ms. Patti Austin during her band practice earlier. It was absolutely surreal watching her sing quite a number of songs which I grew up listening to. I also had the opportunity to spend a good amount of time talking to her about a lot of stuff. Patti Austin is an American R&B, pop, and jazz singer and songwriter. Austin has collaborated with the likes of James Ingram, Steely Dan and Quincy Jones. She received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College of Music. Austin has also won one Grammy out of seven nominations.
