"I Got You" is a 1980 song by New Zealand rock group Split Enz from their studio album True Colours. Split Enz's most commercially successful single, "I Got You" was written by Neil Finn and released in January 1980. In 2001 it was voted 11th best New Zealand song of all time by APRA. I Got You achieved number one status in Australia and charted at #12 in the UK. During this clip Neil humorously asks the audience to mimic the 'delay-echo' part of the final verse and they respond with sheer joy... As does Neil after Lucky's glorious steel solo.

Neil Mullane Finn (born 27 May 1958) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known for being a principal member of Split Enz and for being the lead singer of Crowded House. He was also a member of Fleetwood Mac from 2018 until 2022. Ed O'Brien of Radiohead has hailed Finn as popular music's "most prolific writer of great songs".
