Bassoonist Sips Entire Cup of Tea with Tiny Spoon
+Alan Michels, Bassoonist for the Mantovani Orchestra, takes some time prior to the final show of the tour in China (December 2012 - January 2013) to drink some tea. The hosts presented tiny spoons on the snack table, presumably (he thought) for sipping tea. He didn't want to offend the presenters, like +Dennis Timashpolsky did by flipping the fish at dinner, so he proceeded to drink the entire cup of tea with his tiny spoon. Trumpeter John McAndrews is absolutely stunned by the stunt, and Pianist Connie Maestranzi is beside herself with hysterics. Shortly before the final flicks of tea from the cup, security was sent to investigate the shenanigans (we whimsically imagined), having unsuccessfully tried to determine our actions via the myriad overhead "concealed" cameras. The "investigator" was equally amused as we.
