Blame It On His Hormones - The Hitchers, 1991

Limerick band The Hitchers perform ‘Blame it on his Hormones’ on ‘Scaoil Amach an Bobailín’. The group formed in 1989 with Eoin O’Kelly on lead vocals, Andy Gallagher on lead guitar and backing vocals, Hoss Carney on bass guitar, Niall Quinn on drums and backing vocals and Benny McCormack on rhythm guitar. In 1989 The Hitchers drummer Niall Quinn also became the singer of a band The Cranberry Saw Us with guitarist Noel Hogan, bass player Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler on drums. A year later he decided to leave the band to focus on The Hitchers. Eventually Dolores O’Riordan joined the band as singer and The Cranberry Saw Us became known as The Cranberries.
