When travelling home from London, I read a two page article in a National news paper detailing Niall Quinn's vision for the future of Sunderland. Niall's determination to visit the fans in their hometown bars and clubs to deliver the message awakened every emotion I have ever felt, since climbing aboard the rollercoaster ride called Sunderland AFC. At last, our best chance, to lay so many false dawns to rest, had come. How could I, not follow, when the pied piper called. "Man of Light" is dedicated to Niall Quinn and the words of the song dedicated to all Sunderland fans who "just know what I mean".
