Ep. 17 “Scam Artist?” Ashes to Ash True Crime, “The Kendrick Johnson Investigation” In this episode Ash pauses with the investigating for a moment to look into allegations of a person close to this case scamming people in the name of "Kendrick Johnson." Ash learns more about this possible scam and what was really at the route of it. Ash also writes to Jackie Johnson, so that she can sit down with the family and showcase what was all uncovered so far throughout the investigation. She is met with a surprise email, which causes Ash to question who she had initially aligned herself with.
