Shirley Johnson // Austin, Texas. I would like to share my video of the Romani (Gypsy) song "Trec Cigani Trec" It is a folksong from Romania (no author.) The song is about the Romani (Gypsies) passing by. One eve they are camped- a woman is telling a fortune. One of the men gets out his fiddle and begins to play. Others go and dance around the campfire. When everyone is tired, they go into their caravans and go to sleep underneath their linen sheets.
