Michael Stewart with The Sandpipers & Mitchell Miller & Orchestra ~ Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
This was released on the Golden label in 1950. Discogs says the Mitchell Miller in question is Mitch Miller and His Gang. I'm not sure, but I would certainly say it's possible. This was released on a yellow label, and it's a pretty rare feat to hear a record sound this good for that vintage considering it was a children's label. Absolutely no copyright infringement intended and no attempts at monetizing this channel. I appreciate the publishing companies that have allowed me to continue to put up rare, vintage gems!
About The Sandpipers
The Sandpipers were an American easy listening trio who carved a niche in 1960s folk rock with their vocals and innovative arrangements of international ballads and pop standards. They are best remembered for their cover version of "Guantanamera", which became a transatlantic top 10 hit in 1966, and their top 20 hit "Come Saturday Morning" from the soundtrack of The Sterile Cuckoo in 1970.
