About Louisiana Red

African American blues guitarist, harmonica player, and singer. Further aka (without Release): Alabama Sam, Crying Red, Sugarman George, Texas Jim (based on TV-Documentary Red & Blues (NDR/WDR, 2005)). Born March 23rd 1932 in Bessemer, Alabama, USA. Died February 25th 2012 in Hannover, Germany.
