For nearly four decades, Great White has been one of the defining bands of the hard rock era, delivering timeless hits like "Rock Me," "The Angel Song," and the Grammy-nominated smash "Once Bitten, Twice Shy." With multi-platinum albums, countless sold-out shows, and a legacy that continues to resonate with rock fans around the world, the band remains a powerful force on the concert stage. Joining us today is one of the musicians who has been instrumental in shaping that legacy. Michael Lardie joined Great White in 1986 and has worn many hats throughout his career with the band—as guitarist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, producer, and engineer. Beyond Great White, he's worked with legendary artists including Black Flag, Dokken, Kajagoogoo, Saint Vitus, and spent several years performing with Night Ranger. As Great White continues its 2026 U.S. tour, bringing its catalog of classic hard rock favorites to fans across the country, Michael joins us to discuss life on the road, the band's enduring appeal, honoring the legacy of original frontman Jack Russell, and what's next for one of rock's most iconic bands. Michael, thank you so much for joining us today. It's a pleasure to have you on the show. 1. Great White has been rocking audiences for nearly 50 years. What do you think has allowed the band's music to connect with fans across multiple generations? 2. You've been with Great White since 1986 as a guitarist, keyboardist, producer, and engineer. When you look back on that journey, what are you most proud of? 3. Fans coming out to the 2026 U.S. Tour will hear classics like "Rock Me," "The Angel Song," and "Once Bitten, Twice Shy." What can they expect from the live show this year that makes it special? 4. Great White is sharing the stage with legendary acts like Slaughter, White Lion, Vixen, and Sebastian Bach on select dates. How much fun is it to be part of these lineups that celebrate the golden era of hard rock? 5. You've worked both on stage and behind the scenes as a producer and engineer for a variety of artists. How has that production experience influenced the way you perform and approach Great White's music? 6. You also spent several years with Night Ranger. What did that experience teach you, and how did it influence your career as a musician? 7. Great White earned a Grammy nomination and multiple platinum albums during one of rock's most competitive eras. Looking back, did you realize at the time just how significant those accomplishments would become? 8. The band has continued moving forward while honoring the memory of original frontman Jack Russell, who passed away in 2024. How do you keep his legacy alive while continuing to perform these iconic songs for fans? 9. After so many years on the road, are there still moments before you walk on stage that remind you why you fell in love with performing in the first place? 10. Finally, where can fans find the complete list of tour dates, and what message would you like to leave with everyone thinking about coming out to see Great White live in 2026?
