Performing at the Live Bar in Greenville, North Carolina on Saturday November 23, 2013. Todd Jackson, lead guitarist and founder of Lexx Luthor, many times will add a surprise to the show. In support of local talent, bands and rock and roll in general, Jackson likes to invite a guest musician to play with Lexx Luthor. Every surprise is uniquely different and that is why you should catch as many Lexx Luthor shows as possible. Lexx Luthor formed in 1984 in Kinston, North Carolina. Quote from Bam Bam on NC Scene: "If you were anywhere near the North Carolina scene back in the mid eighties you'd know the name LEXX LUTHOR meant 'Rolling Party!' Formed in the fall of 1984, the band took its first formation under the guidance of bassist Joe Baker, drummer Neal Dennis, guitarist John Bateman, guitarist Todd Jackson and vocal virtuoso Mickey Wetherington. Busting straight out of the non-existent music scene in Kinston, NC the guys rode through every club and Hell-hole across the state. Boasting a set of cover tunes that included a heavy blend of Metallica, Queensrÿche, Metal Church, Dio, Pat Travers, Saxon, Motorhead, Celtic Frost and more. They caught on quick with audiences who were dazzled by the precision of how they played the songs; plus the spectacle which became the stage show they become known for". Musical influences... Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Jesse Bolt, Driver, AC/DC, Maxx Warrior, Wrathchild America, Thin Lizzy and Buster Brown. Tony Williams - vocals Todd Jackson - guitar Noble O'Rourke - guitar Scott Davis - bass Greg Evans - drums Other band members has included Robert Sledge, Eric Fearrington, Mark Whichard, Dennis Bauer, Sully Erna and Jason Patterson. Candy From A Madman lyrics... Step under the streetlight let me see your face There's a madman loose in this neighborhood He draws blood 'cause he likes the taste Carries a knife, carries a gun Run for your, life 'cause he's having fun Life to him is a four-letter word So hold your mother's hand and hide your eyes He talks to his own reflection Laughs at his dirty thoughts He's a student of his own philosophy He applies what he's been taught So he licks his lips Pulls his fingers through his hair Doesn't have a reason 'Cause he doesn't have a care It's one man's world and he's in charge As far as he's concerned you're better off dead Don't take candy from a madman Don't look too deep into his eyes Don't take candy from a madman Sweet bait always lies It's the coldness of his blade Deadly power of his blow Dripping blood from wounded flesh Insanity starts to flow Twisted thoughts inside his head Make it easier to kill Fear entangled in his mine But show it never will Don't take candy from a madman Don't look too deep into his eyes Don't take candy from a madman Sweet bait always lies As he dances with his shadow As he feverishly grins As he buttons up his jacket With cold and icy hands As he sharpens up his blade As he laughs about his pain As he wipes his runny nose As he walks into your room Goodnight
