Jimmy Witherspoon - Times Getting Tougher Than Tough

This version not uploaded as far as I can see. You mostly hear the -64 mod organ-fuelled version on Stateside: (check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbynKDoyQhw). Some confusion may arise from the title sometimes being "Money´s Getting Cheaper". First time I heard these legendary lines about the porkchops it was Van Morrison with Them. "I asked the butcher for a pound but I couldn´t get no porkchops when I laid my money down"! Another killer blues line: "The undertakers got a union - it costs to much to die". All in all a favorite tune and this version with fine guitar available on the Ace compilation of "Swingtime Records -46 to -52"
