Glorious Peter Buck Jangle - R.E.M. on the Boss GX-10 (or any modeller!)
Brand new Les Paul patches coming soon. In the meantime, you can get all of my best Boss GX Series patches and support the channel here: https://ko-fi.com/thepinfieldsmusic/shop A look at how to get those later-era Peter Buck tones on the Boss GX-10 with a patch that’s intentionally simple and tasteful. No overdoing it - just clean chime, a bit of compression, and a hint of the fun stuff to make it feel like the era. And some Kenneth. I’ll run through what the GX-10 is actually doing, why the small choices matter, and how to dial it in on your own setup. Plenty here for GX-10 users, but all of the techniques are completely transferable to any modeller. We’ll be using my Rickenbacker 330, of course - but this week a Buck-inspired mystery guest guitar makes a special appearance… New videos every Sunday. Cheers for watching!
