A fantastic 1967 documentary by Albert Gendelshtein titled 'Dmitri Shostakovich - Sketches for a portrait of the composer'. There's a lot of rare footage in this. In addition to Dmitri, there's footage of his son Maxim Shostakovich, Leonid Kogan, Sviatoslav Richter, Galina Vishnevskaya, Mstislav Rostropovich, Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko, Evgeny Mravinsky, and a re-creation of the legendary concert in which Karl Eliasberg conducted the seventh symphony.
