WITCHFINDER GENERAL: "Free Country" Guitar Cover - 1982 NWOBHM Classic
"Free Country" is from "Death Penalty", the debut studio album by British heavy metal band Witchfinder General. It was released in 1982 on Heavy Metal Records. A NWOBHM Doom classic! I filmed both takes, so you can see how to play it both ways. The guitars used are a 1972 Gibson SG Deluxe (in the dropped down C standard tuning) and a 1965 Gibson Melody Maker (standard tuning) As ever, this is just my version, I make no claim that this is 100% correct.
