Freddie King Part 1 Rare “Gimme Some Lovin” Leon Russell
One of Denny Cordell's proudest moments was when he signed Freddie King to Shelter Records. Cordell's partner, Leon Russell, co-produced King's album Getting Ready, with Don Nix, who was the first artist signed to Shelter Records.
