Byron "Wild Child" Gipson's last single was a county & western duet with Sharon Bryant about his friend and favorite bartender Robert Brain. Released in 1989 on Gipson's own Music 55 Records. The version heard here is the un-edited version. The song details the exploits of Brain and Gipson and includes a cast of characters from various drinking establishments around Peoria and Kewanee. The single was distributed by The Basket Case where Brain bartended at the time. When asked about the song, Brain said "It's nice of Wild Child. It's a comical song. I don't expect my life will change much."
