Here it is! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! Excuse the bum notes at the beginning I was a bit nervous after hunting this cabinet down, giving it a bit of TLC with my Dad, and the heavy history behind it all! This is one of the 6 original Laney guitar cabinets Phil Cope used back in the day when he toured with Witchfinder General. I play some WFG and Black Sabbath tunes, nothing serious just wanted to give the fans a demonstration! This is likely the first time these speakers were played since 1984/1985 when Shaun Fulton and Phil did the Beverage Brothers Rock Disco for their local pubs and the final WFG rehearsals in 1984. The original speakers are Celestion 30W G12H 75Hz, the same ones Iommi used on the early Black Sabbath albums maybe not so ironically. The last 1/2 has Nick joining in, I hope you enjoy this piece of history brought back to life! Any questions feel free to comment and like if you want more! There will be even more Witchfinder General/Tyranonaut surprises in the near future! This is only the beginning. Photo credit to Shaun Fulton, Phil’s roadie and fellow Beverage Brother. If you would like the photo taken down please contact me. Thank you! WFG brings people together! Extra special thanks to Nick, Phil, Jono, Ness, Dan V., the Vrankovich brothers, and Shaun. Alex

The band was formed by Mike Badger in 1983 and Mavers joined the next year, although for most of the group's history, the frequently changing line-up revolved around the core duo of Lee Mavers and John Power along with numerous other guitarists and drummers including Paul Hemmings,...
