This was a great day in the studio here in Philadelphia. I was working with master guitarist, composer, singer Timi Tanzania and co producing along with Richard Waller who is also on keys, Rhythm being held down by pre-famous Ahmir Khalib Thompson aka Questlove of The Roots fame. The video is not the best quality i but the vibe is there as this is rare footage of the groove that we were laying down live in the studio. I was also using my famous Gibson Eb750 bass hollowbody which is a rare instrument all by itself. Wonderful production. (I can hear the engineers and Andy Hurwitz in the background saying something like are they playing the whole thing again over and over.) I would say yes as a producer I was going for perfection and I wanted it to be the dopest groove on the record. I got the track just the way and feel I wanted.
