THE BEST ROCK-CONCERT EVER! A Bowie Tribute concert of almost four hours at Amager Bio in Copenhagen, Denmark, from May 11, 2016 featuring Steen Jørgensen from Sort Sol, Kira Skov, Allan Vegenfeldt from Sandmen, Claus Hempler, Bjørn Fjæstad from Baal, Dicte, Frederik Vedersø from The Eclectic Moniker and Steffen Westmark from The Blue Van. Backing band: Baal Warm-up: "Best of Bowie" (Bowie copy-band) Steen Jørgensen from the old Punk band Sort Sol (“Black Sun”) also delivered a fine performance, he is simply “made of rock”, you can feel and “smell” it when seeing him, and he did a great “Cracked actor” and especially “Suffragette City”, which was one of those moments where Amager Bio did not stand still but was shaking almost like an earth quake, this is how loud and sweaty this incredible energetic song was delivered, and I sang along “Suffragette City” with all air of my lungs, which however was not much compared to what they delivered on stage, and I thought that this is truly the best music in the world, the strongest rock-energy, which is and the best, true ROCK concert as I have ever seen (with Prince, 1988, still being the best concert overall), and I thought about how great it was to see in a small venue standing directly in front of these amazing artists, who played with everything they had because the audience this evening was “amazing”, which they said, and you could see it on them too because of their smiles and energy, and furthermore I was thinking about the many “classic rock footage” clips that I took for example having the front singer standing close to the guitarist and drummer, this is indeed what rock is about – it HAS TO be “sweaty” and “the most beautiful and loud noise” than you can dream about, and it is the same as finding “the soul” in old wine, either you can hear (or taste) it, or you cannot, and if you can, you can hear the beautiful structure and harmonies, or even “small symphonies”, in-between all of the noise, and if you cannot, you only hear “the loudest noise on earth”, which is how my mother would hear it, and here it was of AC/DC calibre, and I was also given the voice of my gentle spiritual mother, who said “can I get some quiet Mozart instead” (?), which was with a smile because she stands behind both Mozart and Bowie, so there you are smile emoticon. Later, Steen and Dicte did an incredible version of “Station to station”, which was simply “majestically beautiful”, but I did not film it.
