Screaming Trees-Feathered Fish (1987 Arthur Lee cover)
I recently found the studio version of Screaming Trees cover of Feathered Fish, a song Arthur Lee wrote in the mid 60s but which was originally recorded by the Sons Of Adam in 1966. I discovered it on the Pebbles Series compilation of 60s garage rock in the mid 80s and Screaming Trees recorded around 1987. We also frequently played it live. It was also on a Flexi Disc for Throat Culture Magazine in 1989 (https://www.discogs.com/R-Stevie-Moore-Screaming-Trees-Fourwaycross-Flux-Throat-Culture-Issue-1/release/3271292) I believe this version may have been recorded off the flexi because of the poor sound quality and as it seems to be sped up quite a bit.
