Brian Vollmer, legendary lead vocalist of the Canadian hard rock band Helix, is interviewed by Jason Saulnier on November 10, 2009. While the band's lineup has changed many times over the years, Brian Vollmer has remained its driving force and sole constant member since its formation. The classic 1980s lineup featured guitarists Brent "The Doctor" Doerner and Paul Hackman, bassist Daryl Gray, and drummer Greg "Fritz" Hinz. Following the tragic death of Paul Hackman in a tour bus accident in 1992, the surviving members reunited in 2009 to record Vagabond Bones, celebrating the band's enduring legacy.
