Since the release of Scarface in 1983, Tony Montana had become a pop culture icon and the movie has become a right of passage for all teenagers. Set against the drug wars in Florida in the 80s Scarface is a brutal look at the life of the Cuban immigrant Tony Montana. Starring is life in the USA as a dishwasher he rose to prominence in the drug underworld to be the king pin, but all that did was put a target in his back. Starring Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Steven Bauer this is an ensemble piece that is deserving of its cult status. Whilst it may not have aged the best you still can’t turn away from the TV when you watch it.
