Blood In, Blood Out actor Jesse Borrego still a 'vato loco'
Elaine Ayala’s conversation with San Antonio native Jesse Borrego covered so many topics, it had to be split in two. They begin with the role Borrego is probably best known for: Cruzito in the cult classic “Blood In, Blood Out.” It’s a movie that fans clung to on old VHS tapes and DVDs. But this May, the Vato Locos began streaming on Hulu, and new generations are seeing it for the first time. It’s only a small part of Borrego’s storied career, which includes acting credits in more than 40 movies and 30 TV shows.
