Leroy Osbourne was the lead singer with 1980s iconic Brit funk band Savanna,Savanna also had within it's ranks the future Blue Note records Jazz musician Orphy Robinson. Osbourne here with a single that was produced by Gospel music producer Wyman Baker and Camelle Hinds of fellow Brit funk chart toppers "Central Line". Osbourne went on to become a permanent member of the Sade band. As an in demand session musician he also worked with numerous artists like Robert Palmer, George Michael,Orphy Robinson & Courtney Pine.

Sade are an English band, formed in London in 1982 and named after their lead singer, Sade Adu. The band consists of Sade (vocals), Paul Denman (bass), Stuart Matthewman and Andrew Hale ; the band has not had a drummer since 1986, and employs session musicians for recordings and live shows. Sade's musical style spans genres such as soul, quiet storm, smooth jazz and sophisti-pop.
