In my furtherance of sharing country music history on this channel, please enjoy Johnny Lee, Live in Concert in this rarely viewed footage, as he was seen up close and live in the 80s! I wasn't present for this show as I was just a kid. My participation came much later as the opening narrator for this video, the re-mastering of it and also the distributor. Known as the Urban Cowboy, Johnny launched to stardom with hits like Lookin' For Love, Could Have Heard a Heart Break and Cherokee Fiddle. Those songs plus 'Till the Bars Burn Down, One in a Million, Sounds Like Love to Me, Rock it Billy, Workin For a Livin', Blue Monday, Rock and Roll Money, Sunny Side of The Street and Hey Bartender are performed here. This recording was produced at Doc Severinsen's Club in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Known as Kathy Bartel at the time, Kathy ran camera and directed many of the shows that came through Docs. These concerts were special and a passion of hers. Even though Kathy is no longer with us, There's no doubt that she would be pleased that you are seeing this important part of our country music history. I hope you enjoy the show!
