Haunting, moody and addictive 1973 roots from the Studio One stable. Gently picked guitar intro opens the way for compelling chugging landscape, peppered with discreet Hammond pulse in the background. All driving Prince Lincoln's sandpaper coated vocal as the jazzy guitar leaves its impression, a mesmeric cocktail of mood changing influences, lifted by an unhurried vocal. The blend is totally captivating. Flip it over for a lively dance session from Prince Jazzbo - Little Joe, a fabulous sampling of Motown's Edwin Starr's "25 Miles" full of pounding bassline notes, as "Jazzbo" screams and shouts his toasting in irresistible rhythms, as snippets of "25 Miles" keeps raising its head. Two really cool, sides; no wonder this disc is so sought after, especially in this "impossibly" flawless condition. e Condition Report Two totally clean label, see images, full gloss mint minus vinyl. Plays beautifully clean (listen) "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
